Ankur Borwankar is the Founder of Borwankar Law and primarily practices in contract drafting, intellectual property rights (IPR), and arbitration and alternative dispute resolution (ADR).
He completed his Bachelor of Economics (Hons.) from Fergusson College, and Bachelor of Law (LL.B.) from the University of Pune.
He has multiple certifications from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), specialising in trademarks, patents, copyrights, and IPR dispute resolution through arbitration, mediation and ADR.
He is a member of the Mumbai Centre for International Arbitration (MCIA).

Dr. Meeran Chadha Borwankar served as an officer of the Indian Police Service (IPS) from 1981 till 2017.
During her illustrious IPS tenure, Dr. Borwankar held various posts, including Commissioner of Police, Pune; Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime), Mumbai; and Director General of Bureau of Police Research & Development (BPR&D), New Delhi.
She is a Hubert H. Humphrey Fellow with the University of Minnesota, USA. She completed her Doctorate in Organisational Management, and Bachelor of Law (LL.B.) from the University of Pune.
With decades of distinguished service in law enforcement, Dr. Borwankar brings unparalleled expertise in criminal justice systems, having led high-profile cases and helped shape key policies. Her deep understanding of criminal law and investigative processes adds a strategic edge to Borwankar Law’s practice, providing the firm and our clients with invaluable insights.
Dr. Borwankar has also authored several best-selling books including Madam Commissioner and Leaves of Life.

Advocate Adwaita Bhagwat is a Counsel at Borwankar Law and predominantly practices in civil, property, and commercial litigation matters.
Adv. Bhagwat graduated from ILS Law College, Pune, and regularly appears before various High Courts, NCLT, DRT, DRAT, RERA, and other tribunals in Mumbai, Delhi, and Pune.
She specialises in civil and corporate commercial disputes, and has represented clients before the Consumer Commissions, NGT, Family Courts, Rent Authority, Charity Commissioner, Industrial, and Labour Courts.
Adv. Bhagwat is a member of the Mumbai Centre for International Arbitration (MCIA), Young International Council for Commercial Arbitration (ICCA), and the Young Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC).
She is empanelled as an External Member on the POSH Committees of various companies and as a legal aid provider with the DLSA, Pune, and is a Registered Trademark Attorney with IPfilings, India.
